About CCA<\/span><\/h2>\n

We are a CPCAB approved private counselling training academy based in Stevenage, in a light, airy and spacious classroom-based location.<\/p>\n

We pride ourselves on creating an environment to nurture the emerging and growing practitioner providing the space for students to develop their self-awareness through experiential learning together with researching and exploring new theoretical ideas. \u00a0We inspire our students to develop independent thinking around societal issues and how these can impact on clients.<\/p>\n

Counselling training is challenging but we want our students to enjoy the supportive atmosphere of our academy, allowing them to take risks and develop their self-awareness and understanding of counselling practice.\u00a0 We continuously review and develop our training to ensure students access the best possible experience whilst they learn the theory and practice of person centred counselling.<\/p>\n

CCA complies with equalities legislation with a robust framework for widening access to and working with candidate diversity, equality of opportunity and anti-discrimination.\u00a0 This applies to our course promotion, pre-course assessment, course materials, delivery and assessment and is regularly monitored by the Director.<\/p>\n

CCA is run as a not-for-profit company and as such we invest in staff and students each and every year.\u00a0 Where possible we offer student bursaries in order to open up access to counselling training where there might be financial barriers<\/p>\n
