Melissa qualified as a person-centred counsellor in 2023 at the Collaborative Counselling Academy. Since then she has gone on to create her own counselling services business working online with clients, and also working with family assessment centres supporting complex families, as well as the staff. Her work and further qualifications has allowed her to consider and apply a more integrative approach based on the needs of her clients and have variety in her work.
Melissa has also worked for 13 years in a secondary school, as both a teacher, pastoral lead and a counsellor. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, having supported clients from the ages of 11 to 85. Merging both her teaching experience and skill, with her passion for counselling allows Melissa the opportunity to help continue cultivating more counsellors into our community.
